We are looking for a committed training planner / instructor (m/f/d) to plan fire brigade training courses and actively support firefighters in gaining valuable experience.

Technician (80-100 %)


The Intercantonal Fire Service Training Centre offers a wide range of education and training opportunities for members of the fire service and is looking for a technician (m/f/d) with immediate effect or by arrangement.

We employ 40 full-time employees, as well as almost 160 experienced part-time employees (instructors & technicians). Together, we provide fire services and other emergency services with a wide range of training infrastructures on which the emergency can be trained realistically, efficiently and safely.

The Intercantonal Fire Service Training Centre is a financially independent company based in Balsthal, which is supported by the two building insurance companies Baselland and Solothurn. It is the regionally leading and largest firefighting training centre in Switzerland.

The Intercantonal Fire Service Training Centre also operates the International Fire Academy, which provides training and education for firefighters from Switzerland, Europe and overseas on the world's most unique tunnel training facilities in Balsthal and Lungern.
