Training modules

In detailed lessons, the correct procedure for different fire incidents is taught and practised. Scenarios range from fires in residential buildings and commercial facilities up to vehicle fires in an underground car park. The use of different fire extinguishing devices can be trained as well as the triple extinguishing attack for liquid fires.

The difficulty level of the drills is adjusted to the level of the participants and increased with the lessons. A total of ten training modules are offered.

Operation modules

Operation modules usually consist of three operational drills. These operational drills are about cooperation in the company and the joint mastery of fires. Training facilities include the Pyrodrom, the underground car park, the fire attack platform and the Theme Park. Three operation modules take place in the polyvalent firehouse Q.

There are a total of 9 operation modules. Also with them the level of difficulty increases with each drill.

Intensive courses

The intensive courses always focus on an outstanding topic for which special training and exercise needs have been identified. The focus is on operational exercises. The course participants take on different roles. In this way, they experience the operational scenarios from different perspectives and take on the tasks of incident management in a comprehensive manner.

As a rule, the operational exercises are to be completed under respiratory protection. The intensive courses are one to two days long.
